I've been seeing Julie since 2005. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to her! I'm an elementary school teacher. Julie has helped me overcome so many illnesses and injuries. 2017 Holiday Cards
A wise and trusted Asian market owner (Mai) referred me to Dr. Julie citing improved health and wellness by her family members and numerous customers. Mai presented me with Dr. Julie's card listing common ailments of which I related to 20 of the 46. The most pressing concerns, at that time, were nerve pain down my left arm, sleep apnea with cotton mouth, weak immune system, migraines, depression and anxiety. The arm pain radiated from the shoulder blade down to my fingertips and was so sever I could not sleep. It was week number 3 of nerve pain and tingling that brought me to see Dr. Julie; at that point my bag of home remedies and stretching exercises had been exhausted.
Now the outcome from my first visit was not what I had expected having experienced previous treatments with a different practitioner. It is difficult to describe, but this first visit left me feeling somewhat lethargic for nearly 3 days. That's not to say I could not function. Indeed, that day I drove 3 hours to my coastal home, solo, but ate sparingly, rested and listened to my body the entire weekend. What I believe happened was a powerful energy shift, my body searching for balance and synergy. Dr. Julie's aggressive first treatment resulted in a noted decrease of arm pain, deeper sleep, fewer migraines, and less anxiousness. Results from the third session: greater decrease in arm pain, complete resolve of apnea, depression and anxiety much improved. My mind was clearer, eyesight more acute and every morning I awoke hopeful in the new day.
One must not become impatient with incremental improvements, given most ailments are cumulative. Due to work constraints my appointments are every other week but the benefits are long lasting. I don't know of any pill that boasts of such success! Upon each visit, Dr. Julie asks, "You feeling better, happier?"...and with a look at my tongue, examination of pulses, a quick intake reference, we are off to another healing session. Each session is more revealing than the prior. Now, after 5 treatments the nerve pain has dissolved and my body is willing to expunge deeper troubles which have accumulated over time and have attacked my immune system. It's like peeling an onion, each layer more astringent to the core; at the core is where true healing is obtainable.
Even though my insurance is not covering these treatments it is my body which tells me there is remarkable and tangible healing; that is my compass. The herbs she prescribes work in unison and extend the treatment without adverse side effects and are far less expensive than elsewhere. Dr. Julie's expertise in reading the human body and her use of needles and herbs exfoliates, nourishes and re balances one's body, mind and soul. It is not her expertise alone but her sincere and tenacious desire to help me heal that moves me to write this recommendation. I am fully committed to this healing process with every confidence in Dr. Julie Fu and her staff and hope you will be moved to reset your compass too.

The decision to search for an acupuncturist is likely a little overwhelming. If you are like me, the idea of acupuncture alone is a little unsettling. One of my favorite Julie quotes is "Nobody like needle".... but we sure appreciate all of the benefits.
I'd like to help make your search a little easier; this is the 12th year since my first experience with Julie. My journey, even more importantly the journey my family has taken with Julie has resulted in a new profound appreciation for her healing talent.
I won't pretend to know how Acupuncture impacts our physiology, but what I do know without question is that what Julie does specifically, will work. Most likely even on the issue you didn't come to her for treatment for! Just a couple of looks at your tongue and feeling your pulse gives her more insight than your patient intake (which she usually looks at after she tells you what you have going on!)
I've seen a variety of acupuncturists, and I will admit Julie is aggressive in her treatment; this is true. You MAY feel a wee bit punk just at first as your body acclimates to the treatment.... but DO NOT give up. Give in to the energy changes and allow time for your body to find balance and synergy again. Feel the "Julie" difference; tangible undeniable results. She makes sure you get your money's worth! Remember- it didn't take an hour for you to get whatever complaint you have- why would it just take an hour for full resolution? Give it a few times before you decide. I guarantee you will be better.
Is it uncomfortable? Uh ya. Does it hurt worse to stub your toe? Totally! My 16 year old said "I'd let someone punch me in the face if it made me feel this much better..." so there you go.
What can it help with you ask? Well... where do I start? I will give you a list of what Julie has helped my family with;

My name is Stephen I am a disabled veteran I have multiple injuries including neck shoulder back hips elbows legs and feet I have lived in excruciating pain for many years have an open prescription for Oxys at one point I was taking 6 15 milligram oxy's a day but I was still in pain recently the VA referred me for acupuncture after 4 treatments 30 years of pain is gone and my left arm works again with no pain no popping sounds the orthopedic surgeon had just told me that it was so bad that a shoulder replacement would not help now I do not need one my shoulder works again after years of having the hold it at my side this treatment is a miracle and I suggest it for everyone as I have found it to also be very spiritually uplifting and help with my stress levels and PTSD I think this is the new medicine by the way I have stopped taking oxycodone.

I am writing to express my gratitude for the wonderful results I have experienced since coming to the Chinese Acupuncture Clinic. Referred to the clinic by a close friend who swore by the invaluable results they had received, I decided to give acupuncture a try ... my first time having acupuncture. I was experiencing great pain and immobility in my knee/leg and have had multiple surgeries in my youth for a congenital hip. Traditional approaches to taking care of the new issues all involved multiple surgeries.
Julie Fu is truly gifted in her sincere care of her patients. I was very scared about my options, extremely stressed, and in a great deal of pain. After very few sessions, I began to experience great pain relief, improved mobility, and so much support because of Julie's genuine concern for my well being. I feel like I got my joy back! I found effective, supportive treatment that does not have to result in surgery!

I did not come to Julie for treatment. My best friend, Ann, needed her services. Of course, Julie had me stick out my tongue a couple of ways, took my pulse a time or two, and pronounced that she could help me (I was amazed by how much Julie could tell the things that were wrong with me by just looking at my tongue and checking my pulse).
I didn't think that there was much anyone could do for me. I fully believed that my heart disease was killing me, and all I could do was to take the meds as prescribed and wait a couple of years. I was nearing 70 and had sort of always figured that people who had handled as much toxic material, fallen off so many roofs, broken half the bones in their body, and faced so many medical traumas could not possibly live beyond 73.
I don't recall how many sessions it took before I was well enough to begin understanding just how sick I had become, including the strange disease of holding an educated belief system that had me already beaten before the contest had even begun.
Julie laid siege to my various conditions (she once commented that even though I had many health issues, that hopefully they'd all be treatable!). She attacked with herbs, needles, watermelon, soft music and kind words. I came to feel appreciated. I felt appreciated just for being.
There is much more going on here than just a bunch of tiny needles changing the way my body does things. There is the magic that is our “Dr. Julie”. She makes one feel like longevity might just be a real option. She makes me believe that the pain can end and I can be healthy again.
Yes, she has helped me. Using her mysterious techniques, she has reduced the frequent dizziness and nausea, brought my blood pressure down 30 points, reduced the impact of my arthritis, off a rash, improved my color and general complexion, eliminated the last traces of those annoying palpitations and attacks of tachycardia, restored my hair color (well, almost. I am nearly 70.), as well as so much more. But, none of these amazing accomplishments can describe the real value of Julie’s practice, at least in how all this healing is affecting me.
Julie has made me stand just a bit taller. I have more confidence and once again I enjoy my life. I am looking forward to a bright tomorrow and many years to enjoy it.
Is this where I start in bleating “Thank You, Oh, Thank You.”? Sorry, not my style. I could go on with pages of text, and it would not begin to express my appreciation, gratitude and respect. Some things go beyond the power of words. How do you say “thank you” for hope?

After months of sciatic and disc pain (from bone on bone vertebrae in my back), I found the Chinese Acupuncture Clinic. This place is the best. After the first visit the pain was much less and after four visits the pain was gone. My activity level increased dramatically. My golf game is the best it's been in ten years. I can ride a bike uphill without getting as short of breath. Additionally, my mind is clearer and I'm able to focus better, I also sleep better, and my mood is improved. I went from 1600 mgs of pain pills per day to NONE. After seven visits I feel better than I have in years. My blood pressure is down dramatically and my blood sugar is starting to lower. I also forgot that I used to suffer from vertigo, which is now gone as well. My ear ringing is reduced and I even have smoother skin. Qiuling Fu is a master of her profession; I would recommend her to anyone.

I am so glad I found Julie. I have been suffering from anxiety, depression, as well as Adrenal Fatigue. After three trips to the ER I finally decided to give acupuncture a try.
I couldn't believe how welcoming and reassuring Julie was. She is one of the most passionate doctors I have ever met. Julie absolutely loves all her patients. Her passion to heal your body is something to be admired. Her office is filled with endless testimonies and thank you cards.
Needless to say since I have been seeing her I have not had one panic attack and finally had a normal cortisol test. I am sleeping so much better and I feel like I can live.

When I first started to come in to see Julie at the begining of this school year, I had serious problems with migraines, stomach pain, depression, anxiety, back pain and menstrual cramping. After my first month of sessions, I lost a good amount of weight, my skin cleared up entirely and I was much happier in general. I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with headaches anymore. You have saved my husband after having a severe gout attack. During his doctors visit his right hand was brutally inflamed and he was prescribes numerous medications. It took at least four days from the initial doctor’s visit before the medicine decreased his pain. However, after six days of not seeing that the swelling was decreasing, my sister-in-law suggested that we try acupuncture treatments. I never in a million years (LOL) thought that acupuncture and gouts would go hand in hand. My sister-in-law looked at different clinics around Eugene and saw “Chinese Acupuncture Clinic” We made an appointment and were seen on a Monday. The staff at C.A.C was remarkable. My husband had a comfortable room and Dr. Fu checked his tongue and pulse and mentioned to me symptoms that he was suffering from which I had never mentioned. It was shocker, but a relief that she knew what he was suffering from. After his first initial treatment, my husband had never felt so much comfort. He felt relaxed, calm, and eager for his 2nd treatment. According to him, he felt happier at work to have experiences acupuncture. As his wife, I’ve witnessed him become more relaxed; experiencing joy and being less inflamed which is amazing. I couldn’t be more thankful to have found a miracle place.
