When I first came to see Julie I had spent five years in bed, on many, many medications. I was unable to hardly walk or move due to the fibromyalgia pain in my body. I had given up now I am pain free, drug free, happy and so thankful for Julie. She actually saved my life. Now I see her on occasion for bronchitis, breathing problems like today. I was treated by many doctors for pneumonia, bronchitis for the last seven months with many medications with no relief. After todays treatment I can breathe better and am not coughing. I just ca not say enough good things about Julie and acupuncture. As a nurse I was very skeptical at first but when the pain was better with just the first treatment it made me a believer. I have now been seeing Julie for about two years. She is not only a wonderful person she works magic! Julie also helped my parents, my son and my neighbor.

Today is my second visit to see Julie and I feel that she is a true miracle worker. I have had chronic neck pain associated with fibromyalgia for years. After the first acupuncture visit on 5/15/09 my pain was none to slight! The tensions in my muscles is gone and I feel a sense of calm and peace on the inside and clarity in my mind. My doctor diagnosed my left shoulder with bursitis and gave me cortisone shots, it helped some but was still painful. I could not move it straight up without pain. After the first treatment from Julie I am able to completely lift it up again. With only two appointments under my belt I am shocked and awed at the amazing healing power of acupuncture and Julies skills.

When I started seeing Julie in Sept. 2007, I had a lot of problems. My fibromyalgia has improved a lot my asthma has improved as well. I no longer am bothered by hot breath, when I inhale deeply. I have been troubled with restless leg syndrome and after two treatments it is better. What a blessing!! Julie has been a real lifesaver for me.

I am 73 years old and have suffered from fatigue, depression and ADD my entire life. I also had been diagnosed as having Fibromyalgia and Epstein Barr and had severe neck and lower back pain from several motor vehicle accidents. My Chiropractor here in Eugene referred me to Julie and after the first acupuncture treatment I felt like a big load had been lifted off me. My mind was peaceful, the pain in my neck and lower back is much better and I have more energy and I find that I could cope much better with stress. My hair used to be very thin, so much so that I was considering purchasing a wig, but it is thicker now. I have had chronic respiratory problems my whole life, now I am breathing so much better. My gall bladder was taken out 30 years ago due to the inflammation. Yet, I still felt the pain in the same area for the last 30 years, now that pain is gone. I feel so much younger. My body is not as stiff as it used to be and I am accomplishing more. I laugh a lot now and do not feel depressed as much. I am thankful that I found Julie. The future now looks more hopeful and brighter!

To Whom it May Concern:

I was referred by my GI Doctor to Dr. Julie Fu. (Actually my primary care doctor referred me to Julie nine years ago, but due to my apprehension about acupuncture I did not go at that time.)

I suffered from sever fibromyalgia, with pain all over my body, and fatigue, for 20 years. The pain was so severe that I could not continue to work, and was forced to retire at 52 years old.I have felt much better after each visit with Julie along with some Chinese herbal medicine.

I have also suffered from allergies and asthma. They have been a part of my life for more than 50 years. With time, my breathing problems have gotten worse. When I sought relief from acupuncture I had reached the point of being short of breath with every daily activity. Five different conventional drugs (all taken at the same time) just were not helping.

After the first treatment I felt that I could draw a deeper breath without coughing.After the second visit I was no longer breathless while doing everyday chores. That relief lasted several days.After the third visit I had five days of drug free easy breathing while doing everyday tasks. After the fourth visit, I only took one dosage of one kind of allergy medication in two weeks. (Before this I had to take three different types of oral medications and use two different forms of inhalers daily.)

I am hopeful that with additional treatment the duration of relief will increase and that I will not be short of breath when walking up an incline.

Yesterday, I fell off a ladder and injured my left knee, both wrists, and both ankles. I came into her office today for my fifth visit, and felt relief right away. I am so glad that Julie has been able to help me so much. After this treatment with Julie (with 10 being the worst and 0 being no pain at all) my knee pain has gone from a 6 to a 2, my wrist pain from a 4 to a 0, and my ankle pain from a 4 to a 2.

I am so happy to have found Julie; she has already helped me so much with five visits so far (along with Chinese herbs.) I am looking forward to more visits with her, to further improve my health.

I have suffered from asthma since I was eight years old, and fibromyalgia for over thirty years. The problems continued to get worse and worse until I had so much trouble getting out of bed in the morning that I had to quit my job as a CNA after twenty-seven years. My asthma was so bad that I had a persistent dry cough almost constantly, coughing up blood. This was combined with aches over my whole body, especially on my shoulder and back, a feeling of pressure on my chest, and frequent chest pain. My doctor told me that I could have a heart attack at any time (both my parents and my sibling had a heart attack). I also had a daily bloated stomach and cramps and poor appetite. My throat was very sore and with a dry mouth, that making it difficult to swallow. Many times I would choke on my food. I had to see a doctor twice to remove food from my throat. I also had hypertension for fourteen years. I slept restlessly. I felt so sick, tired, and bedridden most of the time. I had seen six doctors before I saw Julie, and it seemed that no one could help me much. I was extremely frustrated. I thought I was going to die, as did most of my family.

My neighbor was thrilled after he saw Julie, and referred her to me. I went to see Julie on July 19th, and after the first treatment along with some Chinese herbs, I felt significantly better, literally everything! I felt the best I had felt in ten years! I was no longer coughing up blood after this first visit. My shortness of breath and cough are much better, with far less medication. I no longer have chest pain, or pressure on my chest. My sore throat is gone, and my dry mouth is much better. I have no difficulty swallowing, and I no longer choke on my food. My headaches happen less frequently, and my memory and focus have improved greatly. I can find something that I have misplaced now but this was not as easy for me in the past. My blood pressure is lower. I no longer have heart palpitations. I do not overheat or get tired as easily. My stomach cramps are gone, the bloated feeling is less, and my appetite is coming back. My sleep is more restful, and I am emotionally happier. I had fourteen mini-strokes before I saw Julie, and I have not had a single one since being treated by her. I have more energy, and can now do some light housework. I even painted my deck! We had a family reunion three weeks ago, and everyone was surprised that I was doing so well. My primary doctor was also very pleased when I saw him last week. I know that healing takes time, but with five visits, my life has been changed already, and I will continue my treatment with Julie. My husband also received treatments from her, and was very happy with the results. Julie has helped me immensely. Thank you very much for helping me!
